Jacinta and I had some real laughs over the past few years, and it was great to see her pride in her daughters' weddings, looking so glamorous . One memorable afternoon we had a vintage stall together at Walsham Open Gardens, where we tried on all the clothes and paraded around in gales of laughter. I had borrowed a red 1960s taxi and drove up and down the Main Street with a behatted Jacinta doing a regal wave from the back seat. I'm sure everyone thought she was a celebrity . She was brave and positive right up to the end, and comforted by her girls and their families who supported her so well.
